  Hello Brave Hearted Steppers, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: Not by might, nor by power, but by my Spirit, says the LORD of hosts” – Zechariah 4:6 My 4-year-old son is the kind of child who always likes to try to figure things out on his own. If something breaks, or if he can not figure something out, he will continue to try. He would get frustrated. He will huff and puff. But he will continue in his pursuit of trying to fix whatever it may be. I use the words “whatever it may be” only because this is a constant battle, I see him go through on a day-to-day basis. If you’re a toddler mom you will understand. When I see him struggling and getting frustrated in trying to fix his toys. My mom heart wants to step in so badly and just tell him “Eli, please give me the toy so I can help you put it together.” But I give him time to notice that on occasion it is okay to ask for help. Psalm 34:4 NLT There are times when you don't realize how fear paralyzes you and blinds you from what God has in store for you. Fear blinds you with doubt, fear, anxiety, sadness, depression, and seeing things that really aren't there to bring strife, it depletes your hope, makes you a prisoner of your emotions and feelings of low self-esteem or low self-worth, etc. How many have had enough of the fear in their lives? If you have had enough of fear, today is your day. As the Bible verse (paraphrase) when you pray to the Lord, he answers you and frees you from ALL your fears! Isn't this great news! I sure think so! It's simply taking time for yourself and pausing your existing obligations, even if just for a brief period of time. It is recommended to reduce stress and maintain a good relationship with yourself. Self-care entails taking care of our thoughts, bodies, and spirits. It is a necessary requirement for us to care for ourselves, our families, and our community. Self-care encompasses various activities: mental, emotional, spiritual, and physical. It's more than just a cosmetic regimen or an external activity. To understand what you need to navigate your life, you must start with your heart.  One of the things that God wants us to do is take care of ourselves. He has entrusted us with the responsibility of maintaining our health and wellness to the best of our abilities, as reflected in the biblical message, "Love your neighbor as yourself," as urged by Jesus. Hello Brave Hearted Steppers, Today's verse comes from Jeremiah 29:11. The New Revised Standard Version says "The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever. Do not forsake the work of your hands." Always remember, The Brave Hearted You is Created for a purpose! Purpose means "the reason for which something is done or created or for which something exists". This means you are created for a reason! Have you thought about your purpose? Are you pursuing to fulfill your purpose to the fullest? One of the things you can do regarding your purpose is to take time to "write it down".
