“The wicked run when no one is chasing them, but an honest person is as brave as a lion.” Proverbs‬ ‭28‬:‭1‬ ‭GNBUK‬‬ Hello Brave Hearted Steppers! Have you ever experienced feelings of guilt or been overwhelmed by your thoughts? I certainly have. Times when I've let my desires take control versus moments when I've followed the guidance of the Holy Spirit. The issue was that my mind was continuously engaged in an internal battle, filled with feelings of guilt and inner turmoil. However, it was deeper than that. What was truly happening in my mind was a lack of trust in God regarding my situation. I believed that God wouldn't want to help me since I was seeking immediate results rather than waiting for His timing. I faced difficult lessons that left me burdened with guilt and shame. Isolated and overwhelmed by my thoughts, I struggled silently without anyone to confide in. It was only when I chose to repent and surrender to God that I began to notice doors opening and ever...

Rise and Roar: No More Hiding: It's Time to Brave Heartedly Walk like You're Sent by Rev. Maria Guzman

Hello Brave Hearted Steppers, Have you ever felt you are constantly shrinking back - second guessing your voice, your gifts, or your purpose? You feel the nudge of the Holy Spirit to speak, to move, to show up - but fear paralyzes you. It whispers, "What if I fail?", "What will they think?", or worse, "You are not enough." But here is the truth, Brave Hearted Stepper, you were never meant to hide. You were meant to RISE. You were called to ROAR. Bold as a Lion by Walking in Your Righteous Identity Let's go back to the Bible verse used for this month's series,  "The wicked flee though no one pursues, but the righteous are as bold as a lion." Proverbs 28:1 NIV This is not just words on a page or however you read the Word of God; this is your inheritance as a child of God. When you've been made righteous through Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21), boldness isn't something you strive for; it's something you carry. Notice the contrast ...

Rise and Roar: When Brokenness Becomes a War Cry and Faith Learns to Roar by Loretta Muñoz Edwards

Blessings to all the Brave Hearted Steppers out there, There are two words that mattered during this season of hardships. Rise and Roar. As simple as it sounds it takes actual guts and an unshakable faith to act on these two words. As a neuropsychology student and a bold hearted Christian, I realized this strength is only obtained from God. The mind tricks us into thinking we are not capable. It designs a desolate place to trick you into thinking God is not there. The enemy knows the strongest battle is inside our own minds.  Rise and Roar became a personal phrase that challenged me to examine my faith in God. It took guts to find the faith that roared like a lion. It was inside of me, and I was trapped in this place called the mind. Every experience of rejection, humiliation, scrutiny, and bitterness began to break me. I never felt so broken in my whole entire life, despite knowing God and growing up in church. I felt so broken to the point that my prayers were no longer wo...

Rise and Roar: Transformed to Triumph: Boldness to Surrender by Pastora Yolanda Hernandez

Hello Brave Hearted Steppers, Have you ever felt like surrendering meant weakness? Like letting go was giving up. For many of us, especially those who have always had to be strong and show strength even though we felt all broken inside, surrender can feel like defeat. But in the Kingdom of God, the Bible shows us that surrender is not weakness—it’s the beginning of transformation . Transformation is a thorough or dramatic change in form, appearance, or character. Transformation can really refer to any part of us. For example, the physical, emotional, spiritual, or mental change that we all battle with. My favorite verse of the bible is Romans 12:2, which says, "Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind." There must be a change of mind to be transformed. Many today do not want to go through the process, not knowing that the end results of the hard work, suffering, and the giving of oneself are glorious in Christ. In other w...
