Hello Brave Hearted Stepper, Have you ever experienced a time when you felt invisible? One of my favorite things to do is watch movies. If you have ever watched the Princess Diaries movie, there is a famous quote when the character, Mia, says, "You saw me when I was invisible." It got me thinking; I'm sure many out there feel or have felt invisible. They might be facing low self-esteem, feel unnoticed, feel they don't matter, feel hurt by the loneliness they bear, feel to be soft-spoken because they have a "who is going to listen to what I say anyway" mentality, think if they were not invisible, how would it be? and they question themselves further, do people see me? Hello Brave Hearted Steppers, Take a look at the picture above of today's blog post. With your current patience, can you stack the rocks? At work, there is a snack bowl, and at times there are tootsie pops, and it reminded me about patience. Do you remember the commercial for tootsie pop? Well, there is a child and an owl. The child asks the owl how many licks it takes to reach the center of the tootsie pop (the good chocolate center). [Side note: Yum, I know I'm not the only one getting hungry for eating a sweet.] Returning to the commercial, the owl takes the tootsie pop, licks it, counting 1, 2, 3, (crunch), and biting it to get to the center. At the end of the commercial, it says, "The world will never know." Years ago, I used to have the owl's concept of eating the tootsie, licking it a few times, and (crunch). I couldn't wait anymore to get to the chocolate center. If I were to eat one, I would take my time and reach the chocolate center. How about you? ...

Hello Brave Hearted Stepper, Have you ever experienced a day, week, month, year, etc., that was crazy busy where you were constantly on the go, your stress level was at an all-time high, and all you really wanted to do was scream, AHHHHHHH, that's it no more!?  If the answer is yes, you might be under some stress in your life. For example, you wake up in the morning, hear the alarm buzzing, turn it off (or put it on snooze), go back to bed, and cover your head while stressing out, thinking of what is to be done that day. With this mentality, we cause our own stresses in our lives even before our day had begun. That's why we need to have a positive mentality. As we wake up, instead of stressing out, thank God for waking us up and providing us a NEW day with renewed mercy (Lamentations 3:22-23). Thank God He controls everything you do daily (Ephesians 1:11). Sometimes we try to please everyone around us and take on more than we can handle. This will only heighten the stress level...

Hello Brave Hearted Steppers, "For we walk by faith, not by sight." 2 Corinthians 5:7 The Winter season has come and gone, and since about mid March, we have been in the Spring season until about mid June. One of my favorite things I enjoy is walking, breathing in the fresh air, and the breeze that comes with the spring season. One day as I was walking to the corner of the street that I live on and as I walking back home, I started to think to myself, which foot do I start walking on? I never thought to ask myself this question, but I did. Ha ha! I start walking with my right foot. Which foot do you start walking on? I think this question will have you getting up from your seat and finding out for yourself. Ha ha!  After this funny thought about my physical walk, I started to think of my spiritual walk.
