Connected to the vine of Jesus Christ by Marisol Rodriguez

Hello Brave Hearted Steppers, John 15:1-7 “Jesus said, “I am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that does not produce fruit. He also trims every branch that produces fruit to prepare it to produce even more. You have already been prepared to produce more fruit by the teaching I have given you. Stay joined to me, and I will stay joined to you. No branch can produce fruit alone. It must stay connected to the vine. It is the same with you. You cannot produce fruit alone. You must stay joined to me." When I was asked about writing this blog, my response was, ‘I can do this as the Lord spoke to me on this same topic the night before.” But then, as I kept thinking on the topic and meditating with God, he brought to my mind of “the journey.” I have been in the walk for the past 15 years, and I can honestly say that I have experienced great times with the Lord as well as lived hard and difficult times. My commitment has been to say focused on ...

Deeply Rooted by Abundant Waters by Rev. Grace Reyes

“Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD.   For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.   “The heart is deceitful above all things, And desperately wicked; Who can know it?   I, the LORD, search the heart, I test the mind, Even to give every man according to his ways, According to the fruit of his doings. Jeremiah 17:7-10 NKJV DEEPLY ROOTED BY ABUNDANT WATERS – REV. GRACE REYES When you are firmly planted with deep roots, and your true potential has not been fully revealed, dare to take the leap of faith and challenge yourself to be a powerhouse for His Glory. The verse invites you to trust in the Lord, it promises that when we do so, we will be rewarded with blessings. It gives a visual context of a tree planted by a running river, and the wa...

Rooted in God's Love by Erika Sanchez

Hello Brave Hearted Steppers, Part of the process of being rooted in God’s love is connecting with him by reading the scriptures.  As a believer, you must look at what you are rooted and established in. Your baseline root system must be rooted and established in Jesus–Love. Love should determine your every action, thought, motive, and word. Being rooted in love will keep you from sin and on the right path with God. It will make you more like Jesus every day. Being grounded in God's love offers security and sustenance. We resemble healthy, well-rooted trees that yield good crops. In other terms, he showers us with his affection. Being established in Jesus' love and anticipating to continuously produce fruit is a shining reflection of his love. God describes how he dwells in our hearts via faith and is based in love in the scriptures (Ephesians 3:17)  The more we connect with Him, the more God shows His love to us. He is our father, our foundation, the one who provides love even...

Brave Hearted Stepper deeply rooted in Christ: HARVEST

Image
Hello Brave Hearted Steppers, Today is the last part of the series on Brave Hearted Stepper deeply rooted in Christ! The past few weeks, we talked about PLANT, GROW, PRUNE, and now HARVEST! A Bible definition of Harvest results from God's work in the person's heart. In order for you to see the results (Harvest) from God's work in our hearts, I pray that you do the following: 1. Recognize your soil quality. Seeds on the Path (A hardened heart-Matthew 13:19), Seeds in Thin Soil (A troubled heart-Matthew 13:20-21), Seeds in Thorns (A distracted heart-Matthew 13:22), or Seeds in Good Soil (A fertile heart-Matthew 13:23). 2. Nuture the soil of your heart with the necessary tools by dedicating time to prayer, fasting, God's word, praise and worship, and congregating in your local church. 3. Plant into good soil and a solid foundation to start their growth while giving us a place to extend our roots safely (John 15:4). 4. Lean towards the sunlight through God's word for ...
