Rooted in God's Love by Erika Sanchez
Hello Brave Hearted Steppers,
Part of the process of being rooted in God’s love is connecting with him by reading the scriptures. As a believer, you must look at what you are rooted and established in. Your baseline root system must be rooted and established in Jesus–Love. Love should determine your every action, thought, motive, and word. Being rooted in love will keep you from sin and on the right path with God. It will make you more like Jesus every day. Being grounded in God's love offers security and sustenance. We resemble healthy, well-rooted trees that yield good crops. In other terms, he showers us with his affection. Being established in Jesus' love and anticipating to continuously produce fruit is a shining reflection of his love. God describes how he dwells in our hearts via faith and is based in love in the scriptures (Ephesians 3:17)
The more we connect with Him, the more God shows His love to us. He is our father, our foundation, the one who provides love even to the fatherless. I remember a time searching for love in all the wrong places, and I always questioned God, Why o, why, Oh God, why can’t I find true love? He then whispered, “ I am LOVE, and let me show you. “At that very moment, I understood what he meant. He then shared his love in many forms, and that is when I realized how rooted his love was for me. Before I was born, God knew my individuality, and that is when I recognized he rooted himself from the beginning. We individually develop a connection with God because God is love, and there is no better love than His. His love is consistent, and He gives us Grace, Mercy, and favor through His love.
Another way I've found to stay rooted and grounded in the Word of God is to immerse myself in those who love God and the Bible. He wants us to establish deep and firm love, which also helps us signify confidence and identity in Christ. He helps us grow through our weaknesses. His love makes us confident and strong as long as we remain rooted in Him by Faith and His word.
The most important point to remember is God loves you and that his grace is sufficient.
(Corinthians 12:9) My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore, I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses so that Christ's power may rest on me.
He desires us to be anchored and connected to Him forever because He is our vine, and we are his Branches. He clearly mentions it in John 15:5 I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me, you can do nothing.
There is no other love that can be as deeply rooted as his, despite the fact that the world may provide other forms of love. He loves you perfectly and without conditions,
Finally, remember to always be grounded and connected so that you may see His Perfect Love for you.
Blessings
Erika Sanchez
