Brave Vision - A New Perspective for a New Season by Pastora Yolanda Hernandez

Hello Brave Hearted Steppers,

Every new season is more than a shift on the calendar—it’s an invitation from God. Scripture reminds us that “to everything there is a season, and a time for every purpose under heaven” (Ecclesiastes 3:1). When God ushers us into a new season, He often brings a fresh perspective along with it—one designed to shape us, stretch us, and draw us closer to Him.

Letting Go So God Can Lead

Just as trees release their leaves in autumn, God often calls us to release what cannot go with us into the next chapter. Sometimes it’s a habit. Sometimes it’s a mindset. Sometimes it’s a wound we’ve held onto for too long.

Surrender isn’t loss—it’s obedience. And on the other side of obedience is freedom.

Ask God, “What are You inviting me to let go of so I can walk forward with You?”

Seeing Through God’s Eyes

A new perspective begins with a simple prayer:

“Lord, help me see this season the way You see it.”

When we shift our gaze from our circumstances to God’s faithfulness, fear loses its grip. Challenges become opportunities for spiritual growth. Delays become protection. Detours become divine direction.

God is always working, even when we don’t understand the process.

Remembering God’s Faithfulness

Before stepping into something new, it’s helpful to remember what God has already done.

David defeated Goliath with confidence because he remembered God’s faithfulness in past battles. In the same way, your testimony from the last season becomes your strength for the next.

Reflect on God’s fingerprints in your life—His provision, His protection, His peace. Let those memories anchor your faith as you move forward.

Setting God-Centered Intentions

A new season is the perfect moment to lean in and ask God:

What are You growing in me right now?

Where are You calling me to show up with more faith?

How can I honor You in this season?

When your intentions align with God’s heart, your steps become purposeful, even when the path feels uncertain.

Embracing the Grace to Begin Again

One of the most beautiful truths of the Gospel is this: with God, new beginnings are always possible.

He makes all things new (Revelation 21:5).

He restores what was broken (Joel 2:25).

He brings life to what felt barren (Isaiah 43:19).

A new season is not just about change—it’s about transformation. It’s about stepping into what God has already prepared for you with courage, faith, and expectation.

May this season be one where your perspective is lifted, your heart is renewed, and your faith is strengthened. God is not only going before you—He is shaping you along the way.

And in Him, every new season becomes a new opportunity to grow.

Be blessed as you step into a New Year.
