Brave Positioning: Positioned in the Valley by Rev. Maria Guzman

Image
Hello Brave Hearted Steppers, There are moments when God positions us in places we would never choose on our own. Ezekiel did not place himself in the valley. Scripture says, “The LORD took hold of me, and I was carried away to a valley…” (Ezekiel 37:1). The valley was full of dry bones. Not fresh bones. Not slightly damaged bones. Dry bones. Completely lifeless. Completely empty. Completely beyond human repair. Yet it was there — in the middle of what appeared hopeless — that God began to reveal His power. Sometimes, Brave Positioning means standing in places that look barren while trusting God is still working. Sometimes God positions us in situations where we cannot rely on our own strength, wisdom, or solutions, so we will fully depend on Him. Before the bones lived, Ezekiel had to listen. God asked him a question:  “Son of man, can these bones live?” (Ezekiel 37:3) What a question to ask in a valley of death. But Ezekiel answered wisely:  “...,you alone know the answer ...

Brave Blogs | Brave Positioning: Positioned Before You Proceed by Rev. Maria Guzman

Hello Brave Hearted Steppers, There is a difference between moving and being positioned . Sometimes we feel the urge to rush ahead—to make decisions quickly, to fix what feels uncertain, or to step into what’s next before we’ve fully settled where God has us. But Brave Positioning reminds us that before God often calls us to proceed , He first calls us to be still enough to be placed . Positioning is not passive. It is an intentional surrender. It is allowing God to align our hearts before He assigns our Brave Hearted steps. Sometimes positioning looks like waiting. Sometimes it looks like returning. Sometimes it looks like letting go of what once felt necessary so we can receive what is now needed. In the Bible, we often see God positioning His people before pivotal moments—placing them exactly where they need to be, even when they don’t fully understand why. David was positioned in the pasture before the palace. Esther was positioned in the palace before the petition. The...

Brave Blogs | Brave Positioning By Loretta Muñoz Edwards

"Therefore, my beloved brethren, be steadfast, immovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, knowing that your labor is not in vain in the Lord." 1 Corinthians 15:58 Greetings to all my Brave Hearted Steppers out there!  Today, I wanted to continue with Paul’s encouraging words of wisdom. Often, with Brave Positioning comes labor and constant effort and dedication to do the work God has asked us to do. It’s a true blessing being called by the creator of the universe, but being positioned in this fallen world comes with its challenges when you do such good work.  We often come across confusion, self-doubt, and even frustration. A lot of the time, it becomes a back-and-forth battle between giving up and continuing the labor.  I like how Paul mentioned, “immovable.”  He encourages us to be immovable. This means that even if everything around you is falling apart, even if you lose everyone, and even if you doubt yourself. You must remain immovable. Your positionin...

Brave Blogs | Brave Positioning: The Posture That Positions You by Rev. Maria Guzman

Hello Brave Hearted Steppers, There is a posture that speaks before you ever say a word.  A posture that reveals where your trust is rooted, where your strength is drawn from, and where your heart is anchored. At Brave Hearted Ministry, we don’t just talk about position—we talk about posture. Because the truth is, your posture is what prepares you for the position God is calling you into. Posture is not about appearance. It’s about alignment. You can be standing in the right place, but if your heart is misaligned, you will struggle to remain there. God is not only concerned with where you are—He is deeply invested in how you show up. 1. The Posture of Surrender Positions You for God’s Will “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6 Surrender is not weakness—it is divine alignment. When you release your grip on control, you make room for God to establish your ste...

Brave Blogs | New Series continues May 8, 2026

Image
Hello Brave Hearted Steppers, What began in April doesn’t end here. As we step into a new month, we will continue our Brave Blogs series: Brave Positioning . God is still positioning us. Positioning is not a one-time moment—it’s a daily decision to stay aligned, to stay surrendered, and to stay where God has called us to be. Last month, we began to posture our hearts, minds, and steps. This month, we continue—going deeper, staying steady, and becoming more intentional in how we walk it out. We are not starting over—we are building on what God has already begun. This month, we will continue to: Position our hearts in surrender Position our minds in truth Position our steps in obedience Brave Hearted Reflection: What is God asking of you now—not just to start, but to continue? May you remain firm, faithful, and positioned exactly where God desires you to be. Many Blessings, Rev. Maria Guzman Founder of Brave Hearted Ministry
