Brave Positioning: The Posture That Positions You by Rev. Maria Guzman
Hello Brave Hearted Steppers,
There is a posture that speaks before you ever say a word.
A posture that reveals where your trust is rooted, where your strength is drawn from, and where your heart is anchored.
At Brave Hearted Ministry, we don’t just talk about position—we talk about posture. Because the truth is, your posture is what prepares you for the position God is calling you into.
Posture is not about appearance. It’s about alignment.
You can be standing in the right place, but if your heart is misaligned, you will struggle to remain there. God is not only concerned with where you are—He is deeply invested in how you show up.
1. The Posture of Surrender Positions You for God’s Will
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” Proverbs 3:5-6
Surrender is not weakness—it is divine alignment. When you release your grip on control, you make room for God to establish your steps. The posture of surrender says, “God, not my way, but Yours.”
And that posture positions you exactly where you need to be.
2. The Posture of Humility Positions You for Grace
“Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that He may lift you up in due time.” 1 Peter 5:6
We often want elevation without preparation, but God lifts those who choose to go low first. Humility is not thinking less of yourself—it is thinking with proper perspective: God is greater, and I am dependent on Him.
When you bow before God, He entrusts you with more.
3. The Posture of Stillness Positions You for Clarity
“Be still, and know that I am God.” Psalm 46:10
In a world that glorifies movement, God honors stillness. Stillness is not inactivity—it is intentional quieting of the soul. It is choosing to pause long enough to hear God clearly.
Sometimes your next direction isn’t found in doing more, but in being still.
4. The Posture of Obedience Positions You for Purpose
“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says.” James 1:22
Obedience is where revelation becomes transformation. It’s one thing to hear God—it’s another thing to follow through. Your obedience today is positioning you for the purpose you’ve been praying for.
Delayed obedience is still disobedience. But willing obedience unlocks divine movement.
5. The Posture of Worship Positions You for God’s Presence
“Come, let us bow down in worship, let us kneel before the Lord our Maker.” Psalm 95:6
Worship is more than a song—it is a posture of the heart. When you bow, when you kneel, when you lift your hands, you are declaring, “God, You are worthy.”
And where worship is, His presence follows.
Brave Reflection:
What is your posture today?
Are you striving, or are you surrendered?
Are you rushing, or are you still?
Are you listening, or are you obeying?
Your posture is not just a response—it is a preparation.
Because the posture you choose today… will determine the position you can sustain tomorrow.
Brave Reminder:
God doesn’t just position people—He prepares them. And preparation always begins with posture.
