Brave Blogs | Brave Posture: The Art of Becoming Less by Loretta Muñoz Edwards

Greetings to all my Brave Hearted Steppers out there! John the Baptist was confident in that Brave Posture. He really loved the lord and felt unworthy of even loosening Jesus’s sandals. Preparing the way for our savior. People questioned him and wondered with what authority is he baptizing people. John the Baptist was neither a priest or prophet Elijah. He was the one God called to prepare the way. And although he was in the wilderness and ended up being killed. He successfully led people to Christ. John started a sacrament that would be followed by all believers for decades. A sacrament that would one day change the whole world.  “Now this is the testimony of John, when the Jews sent priests and Levites from Jerusalem to ask him, “Who are you?” He confessed, and did not deny, but confessed, “I am not the Christ.” And they asked him, “What then? Are you Elijah?” He said, “I am not.” “Are you the Prophet?” And he answered, “No.” Then they said to him, “Who are you, that we may give ...

Brave Posture: The Posture Every Season Requires by Rev. Maria Guzman

Hello Brave Hearted Steppers, One of the most challenging parts of walking with God is not recognizing that seasons change. It is learning how to posture ourselves within them. Ecclesiastes 3 begins with a powerful reminder: “For everything there is a season, a time for every activity under heaven.” (Ecclesiastes 3:1, NLT) This verse tells us something important right from the start—God is not surprised by the seasons of our lives. They are not random, rushed, or wasted. They are appointed. But as I reflected on this passage, I realized something deeper: Every season does not just bring different circumstances. Every season requires a different posture before God. We don’t always get to choose the season we are in. But we do get to choose how we position our hearts in it. When the Season Changes, the Posture Must Be Discerned Ecclesiastes 3 goes on to say there is: a time to be born and a time to die, a time to weep and a time to laugh, a time to mourn and a time to dance, a time...

Pause, Pray, Take 30!

Pause, Pray, Take 30! Take 30 seconds — right now, or anytime today — to pause and pray for those who are in need of complete healing. "But he was pierced for our rebellion,  crushed for our sins.  He was beaten so we could be whole.  He was whipped so we could be healed." Isaiah 53:5 NLT #PausePrayTake30 Pause, Pray, Take 30! Method https://braveheartedministry.blogspot.com/2024/07/pause-pray-take-30-method.html Jehovah Rapha, our healer, STILL HEALS and STILL PERFORM MIRACLES! Who will join me in praying for those who are in need of COMPLETE HEALING? WHO will join me in praying for these MIRACLES to take place in people’s lives and for God to be glorified through their testimonies of a living God who STILL HEALS? If there is someone who is in need of this prayer, join me and place their names on the comment section and we will have them in prayer as well!

Hello again Brave Hearted Steppers, greetings to everyone. It is a privilege to be here once more, sharing another blog with you. Continuing with the theme of “Brave Posture,” I want to once again thank Maria for the opportunity to share these reflections, always praying that they will bless your lives. This time, I want to talk to you about the people of God based on the book of Exodus. The word Exodus literally means “departure”. This story speaks about people just like you and I. It tells us about the people of Israel departing Egypt, a place of slavery, oppression, and suffering. But first, let me share something that captures my attention: God opened two bodies of water for His people. He opened the Red Sea to bring them out of slavery (Exodus 14:21), and He opened the Jordan River to lead them into the Promised Land (Joshua 3). Both moments reveal God’s power being manifested to move His people from one place to another—from slavery to freedom, from wilderness to promise....

Greetings Brave Hearted Steppers! It is truly a privilege for me to once again share a new blog with you. I also want to thank Maria, Rounder of Brave Hearted Ministry, for this opportunity, always praying that these words will bless your life and strengthen your faith. The theme of this series is “Brave Posture.” Since Maria graciously gave me this opportunity, we will explore two different stories under the same theme. So, get comfortable and read until the end—I believe this message will encourage your heart. I always enjoy looking up the meaning of key words related to the topics I write about, and this time I searched for the meaning of the word posture. According to the dictionary, posture refers to the position in which a person or animal stands or carries themselves, but it can also describe someone’s attitude, perspective, or response toward a situation. We can also connect posture with conviction, because what a person truly believes will eventually shape the way they stand...

New Brave Blog Series: Brave Posture

Image
Hello Brave Hearted Steppers, I'm excited to invite you into the new Brave Blogs series through Brave Hearted Ministry: Brave Posture . In the past two months, God reminded us that while positioning matters, so does posture - how we present ourselves before Him as we wait, listen, surrender, and follow His lead. Brave Posture  is a space to reflect on the spiritual posture of our hearts. What does it look like to stand in surrender? To sit in stillness? To kneel in trust? To walk in obedience? Together, we will explore the postures that share our discipleship and deepen our relationship with God - learning how to remain open, anchored, and attentive to His voice. My Pause, Pray, Take 30! prayer is that each reflection encourages you to pause and consider your own posture before the Lord, allowing Him to strengthen, soften, and steady your heart for whatever lies ahead. May we become people who are not only Brave Hearted in action, but also Brave Hearted in posture - rooted in humil...
