Brave Hearted Stepper deeply rooted in Christ: HARVEST

Hello Brave Hearted Steppers,

Today is the last part of the series on Brave Hearted Stepper deeply rooted in Christ! The past few weeks, we talked about PLANT, GROW, PRUNE, and now HARVEST!

A Bible definition of Harvest results from God's work in the person's heart.

In order for you to see the results (Harvest) from God's work in our hearts, I pray that you do the following:

1. Recognize your soil quality. Seeds on the Path (A hardened heart-Matthew 13:19), Seeds in Thin Soil (A troubled heart-Matthew 13:20-21), Seeds in Thorns (A distracted heart-Matthew 13:22), or Seeds in Good Soil (A fertile heart-Matthew 13:23).

2. Nuture the soil of your heart with the necessary tools by dedicating time to prayer, fasting, God's word, praise and worship, and congregating in your local church.

3. Plant into good soil and a solid foundation to start their growth while giving us a place to extend our roots safely (John 15:4).

4. Lean towards the sunlight through God's word for guidance and strength as it will bring warmth and comfort in times of struggle and leads us on a clear path in times of doubt (Psalm 119:105).

5. Allow the water to sustain and help you grow as you fellowship with fellow Christians by loving, supporting, and encouraging one another in Christ (Matthew 18:20, Hebrews 10:25, 1 Thessalonians 5:11).

6. Eliminate and uproot the weeds that are not wanted or not needed in your lives as they will affect your spiritual growth and bring distance between God and us (Galatians 5:19-21).

7. Live by the Spirit through our spiritual fruits by submitting our flesh of its passions and desires (Galatians 5:22-25).

8. Allow God to prune and remove anything, not in line with His plan for our lives.

9. Don't give up and press on toward reaping the harvest of blessings (Galatians 6:9).

10. Reap the harvest! The Gardener's final step is reaping the harvest of what the seeds were planted (e.g., tomatoes, corn, etc.). We need to be like the Gardener and reap the harvest of blessings (e.g., mental health, spiritual health, physical health, emotional health, salvation, etc.)

***In order to reap the harvest of blessings, you have to wait on God's perfect timing.***

Please know that at the right time, we will reap (Galatians 6:9). This is a reminder and promise of strength to continue doing good work, no matter the sacrifice. If you seek Him and only Him, He will provide you with the strength to continue doing the good works for God's glory and reap when the time is right.

Deep Root Thought
Brave Hearted Stepper, may you *PLANT*GROW*PRUNE*HARVEST* as you grow deeply rooted in Christ.

Here are things you can do weekly to continue to bring nutrients to your soul as you grow and thrive in Christ:

1. Dedicate time in prayer.
2. Dedicate time in fasting.
3. Dedicate time in God's word.
4. Dedicate time in Praise and Worship.
5. Congregate at your local church.
