Father's Day 2023

On behalf of the Brave Hearted Ministry, Happy Father's Day, and may the Lord bless, protect, smile, be gracious, show His favor, and give peace to you and your family, in the name of Jesus, Amen. Psalm 112:1-8 "Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who greatly delights in his commandments! His offspring will be mighty in the land, the generation of the upright will be blessed. Wealth and riches are in his house. He is gracious, compassionate, and righteous. He does not fear bad news; he confidently trusts the Lord to care for them. He is confident and fearless." Many Blessings,  Maria Guzman

Hello Brave Hearted Steppers, HEALING What exactly does the term "healing" imply to me?   Healing can take many forms. It could take a physical or spiritual shape, for example. We all experience some form of trauma throughout our lives. It could be a painful loss of someone, a divorce, or we are recovering from physical agony. Going through a period of healing can be confusing and frustrating. Whether you’re overcoming an illness or injury or mourning the loss of a loved one, you can sometimes feel stuck with no way out. It's helpful to know that you are not alone in times like these. While there is no finite timeline for recovery, eventually, you will reach the other side. Times of healing are also great growth opportunities, whether emotional, spiritual, or physical. Therefore, if you find in the scriptures, “The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Psalm 34:18 Healing is the most time-consuming process that someone can g...

Release the grip of what you cannot control through prayer.

Hello Brave Hearted Steppers, Recently, I heard the phrase "Prayer changes everything." and brought to mind a song in Spanish (Ora, Declara, Alaba - https://youtu.be/839wKAw3328) that means (Pray, Declare, Praise) that has impacted my prayer life tremendously.  Prayer can change everything when we release the grip of what we cannot control by praying, declaring, and praising through prayer and allowing God to do what He needs to do in the midst of your prayer requests. I stated above, "Release the grip." Grip means to take a firm hold of; grasping it tightly. Release means to move, act or flow freely. There are times we may grip onto a situation or circumstance because it's too close to our hearts and with our carnal eyes feel that we can do something about it, hold it tight, and as we squeeze, the frustrations, stress, and emotions that arise, and feel out of control. That is why we need to release the situation or circumstance to God (1 Peter 5:7) and a...
