Blessings Brave Hearted Steppers, Faith will Cause you to Soar Like an Eagle But those who wait on the LORD Shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, They shall run and not be weary, They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31 NKJV What comes to mind when I read the word “Faith” is that it is a verb, (definition: a word used to describe an action, state, or occurrence) it requires something from us for it to be activated. It requires us to see in the natural what the Lord has been arranging in the supernatural. Faith propelled the women with the issue of blood to risk everything to reach Jesus, she believed with her whole being that her healing was directly tied to this humble Rabbi.   Blessings my Brave Hearted Steppers, “To be or not to be, that is the question.” This quote is from William Shakespeare’s play, Hamlet. In this speech, Hamlet contemplates the nature of existence and the idea of life and death, reflecting on the struggles and uncertainties life brings us.  As I contemplated this blog and its theme, I wanted to start with a quote to express the same ideas as Shakespeare’s quote only it goes like this “To Soar or not to Soar, that is the question."   All of us, at one point or another, will have to make this choice. Will I soar and fulfill the promise that God has given to each one of us in His word, or will we not soar and settle as if we were defeated and helpless people and have no hope at all, and never enjoy the fullness of His greatness in our lives?  To soar means more than to fly; it means to rise swiftly, to feel the wind slipping below you as you ride it higher, higher, higher. Everything that he does, he allows, and that is currently present in your life is important and is there for a reason that God is currently developing and working out for you to see. The last few weeks I have been truly enjoying a bible plan that talks about trusting God in the waiting. The first part of Isaiah 40:31 talks about those who wait on the Lord shall. In other words, the soaring happens after the waiting. And waiting isn’t our best quality, even though we are all required to wait. Waiting is something that is constantly used to teach us patience, perseverance, endurance, and the meaningful lessons that show us the plan and purpose of God in our lives.
