Brave Vision - When God Opens Your Eyes to What You Cannot Yet See by Rev. Maria Guzman
"For we live by believing and not by seeing." 2 Corinthians 5:7 NLT
Hello Brave Hearted Steppers,
We have entered a season where God is calling each of us to look beyond what are natural eyes can see. As we Brave Heartedly step into the final weeks of 2025, many of us are reflecting on prayers prayed, victories celebrated, and other things including the challenges we faced. Yet, through it all, one truth remains unshakably clear: Walking with God requires vision, not just eyesight.
The Difference Between Eyesight and Vision
Eyesight sees the reality.
Vision sees opportunities.
Eyesight sees obstacles.
Vision sees opportunities.
Eyesight sees what is happening now.
Vision sees what God is preparing next.
When Paul wrote, “For we live by believing and not by seeing,” he wasn’t calling us to ignore our circumstances—he was calling us to interpret life through the lens of Brave Hearted faith. Sight will report what is, but vision aligns you with what God says will be.
This month at Brave Hearted Ministry, we are stepping into this deeper dimension of faith. BRAVE VISION is more than a concept—it is a lifestyle, a posture, and a spiritual discipline. It is the Brave Hearted courage to believe in God even when you don’t have all the answers. It is the willingness to trust His leading when your path feels unclear. And it is the Brave Heartedness to hold onto His promises when life looks the opposite.
Vision Requires Boldness
Every promise God gives comes with a step He asks you to take.
Maybe it’s a step of obedience.
Maybe it’s a step of surrender.
Maybe it’s a step of courage you didn’t think you had.
But every Brave Hearted step is an act of faith that says: “Lord, I trust You more than what I see.”
This is where boldness becomes essential. A Brave Hearted Stepper doesn’t wait to feel ready—they move because God already has the victory prepared ahead of them.
Vision Produces Resiliency
When your vision is anchored in God, setbacks don’t stop you—their only job is to strengthen you. The enemy attacks vision because he knows a believer with clarity is unstoppable. But every challenge becomes a testimony when your eyes remain fixed on Jesus.
Vision Thrives With Accountability
Sometimes you need someone to speak life when you feel discouraged. Brave Hearted Ministry is here to walk alongside you—reminding you of the dreams God placed inside you, holding you accountable to your purpose, and encouraging you to keep going even when you feel weary.
Vision Points Toward God’s Blueprint
Vision is not about your plan—it is about God’s plan unfolding in your life. He sees the end from the beginning, and He invites you to partner with Him in what He is building in you and through you.
Vision Empowers Your Faith Walk
When you embrace God’s vision, you begin to live with a sense of spiritual expectancy. You pray differently. You plan differently. You worship differently. You move differently.
Because you know—deep down—that the God who gave you the promise will also guide your Brave Hearted steps.
This Month, Let God Strengthen Your Sight
As we have already begun this new December series, I invite you to ask the Lord:
“What are You showing me that I have overlooked?”
“Where are You inviting me to trust You more deeply?”
“What step of faith are You calling me to take before this year ends?”
Vision is a gift, but it is also a responsibility. God reveals so that we can respond. And when we respond with obedience, trust, and expectation, we begin to experience the fullness of His purpose for our lives.
Brave Hearted Stepper, this is your season to see beyond the natural.
This is your season to align your Brave Hearted faith with God’s vision.
This is your season to walk with Brave Hearted confidence, courage, and clarity.
Many Blessings,
Rev. Maria Guzman
