BRAVE VISION: Braver than the Noise by Loretta Muñoz Edwards
Good Morning Brave Hearted steppers,
Vision is not limited to the physical eyesight; in fact, it requires you to see something deep in your soul. Imagine being blind folded, in a dark fog, and the father holds your hand, and you have to follow him without seeing a thing.
And as you walk, you hear voices of others saying you’ll never make it, people laughing at you, mocking you, and accusing you.
Let’s hit closer to home with these voices….
“You will always be alone, nobody cares about you, they don’t believe in you, you are too religious, you don’t look Christian, keep your mouth shut, nobody wants to listen to you, you don’t have that gift, you are jealous, you are prideful, you are shy….”
Would you still continue walking? Would you still trust God? Would you still see the bigger picture?
Brave Vision is more than vision. It comes from deep within the soul, in a place only God can search. You need to silence the noise. It requires you to move forward. It requires you to not look to the sides or behind you. Lot's wife looked back, and she turned into a pillar of salt. She did not see the bigger picture. You don’t need to see to have a vision. In fact, simply writing this requires me to see the bigger picture, the lives that will be touched.
Stay with me, I want to show you something …
The behind the scenes is what shook my soul to the core. Ministers crying with their faces to the floor full of the Holy Spirit, ministers who lost their loved ones and still had to show up to care for the church, ministers who starved to see someone else blessed. Ministers were desperate for a change and led the church in prayer and fasting. Ministers are full of the revelations of God. Ministers who believed in miracles, ministers who had revival services, ministers who died to themselves to glorify God. But! On the other hand, I saw ministers called out in the act of secret sin, exposed by the Holy Spirit, ministers being corrected and disciplined. Ministers are careless of people’s salvation. This showed me what happens when people replace God's vision for their title. They missed the big picture.
And I held onto Jesus so tightly because I was brave enough to see the vision ahead. Faith was being born within me, and I had to keep on waking to see the lives being transformed.
Brave vision goes beyond what you are accustomed to. Remember Abraham...
“By faith Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to the place which he would receive as an inheritance. And he went out, not knowing where he was going.” Hebrews 11:8 NKJV
Let’s learn to hold onto God to obtain the brave vision we seek so boldly to have. Keep your head up high, you are sons and daughters of the most high God. Jesus Christ
Peace and Blessings,
Loretta Muñoz Edwards
