Brave Blogs | Brave Positioning:  The Prisoner Who Freed Prisoners By Loretta Muñoz Edwards

Greetings Brave Hearted Steppers !

The moment you feel like God has forgotten you is often the place he called you to flourish.

What if God is asking you to do the unthinkable right here? Right where you are.

Paul was in prison, and while he was behind bars he wrote letters. His letters freed people from their own spiritual imprisonment. People that were spiritually captive were being set free because of one man behind a jail cell.

A prisoner who freed prisoners.

A lot can happen inside the jail cell.

Often times we dream and hope for a place of freedom and goodness to do Gods work. But what if God is calling you to do it in the most darkest and trapped place?

What if God is asking you to plant a seed?

The clarity you seek is not on what you see with your eyes. He shuts everything down including all the noise to get the most out of you.

It’s often in our loneliest moments when we produce the best work of art.

Sometimes you feel forgotten and left to flourish in a place with no light where the silence swallows your words.

We often find our selves patching the wounds of our brokenness. But nothing hurts more than being put in a place locked up with your brokenness and all. Forced to face the heaviness of what lies around you.

But Paul did this with great joy because he knew this was for the Lord and he carried his calling with confidence. He was honored to suffer for the sake of Christ. Little did he know about the impact his flourishing made. His Brave Positioning inside a jail cell made the impact. God placed him there because He knew this would change the world.

“Now I want you to know, brothers and sisters, that what has happened to me has actually served to advance the gospel.

As a result, it has become clear throughout the whole palace guard and to everyone else that I am in chains for Christ. And because of my chains, most of the brothers and sisters have become confident in the Lord and dare all the more to proclaim the gospel without fear.”

‭‭Philippians‬ ‭1‬:‭12‬-‭14‬ ‭NIV‬‬

And this isn’t all of Paul you hear about. Look back and check out the story about Paul and Silas  in Acts 16:16-40.

Reflection Question:

How can you flourish in your calling where you are right now ?

Blessings,
