BRAVE BOLDNESS: Dare to Trust God's Call by Rev. Maria Guzman
Hello Brave Hearted Steppers,
I pray that last week's kick-off blog post was a blessing to your lives!
As I said in a previous post, God wants you to live life to the fullest with an intentional lifestyle, no matter what comes your way. A lifestyle that flows with the guidance of the Holy Spirit mixed with prayer, fasting, and His word to help you as you take Brave Hearted steps with BRAVE actions:
For the next five months, we will journey with our Brave Hearted Steppers through one of these powerful words that shape our Brave Hearted Lifestyle.
The Bible says in Jeremiah 29:11 NLT "For I know the plans I have for you,” says the LORD. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope."
There is something powerful about Brave Hearted Stepping into the unknown.
It's the place where your faith either rises or falls. The place where comfort zones break, fears get loud or even louder, and God's voice becomes the only compass we can truly rely on.
Jeremiah 29:11 is not just a pretty Bible verse to frame on our wall. It's a call to BRAVE BOLDNESS. God reminds us that His plans are good, even when they take us through uncomfortable or unexpected paths. When God calls us to Brave Heartedly step forward, it's not because we're already ready - it's because He's ready to do something through us.
Brave Hearted Steppers, This is Your Moment...
To be a Brave Hearted Stepper means you don't just sit and wait for perfect conditions. You take a Brave Hearted step. You dare to believe that God's plan is greater than your fear. You trust that event if you don't see the full picture, the One who holds your future is leading you toward hope.
BRAVE BOLDNESS is not about being fearless - it's about obeying in spite of fear.
Here are 3 Ways to Walk in BRAVE BOLDNESS:
1. Say "Yes" before you see how. God rarely shows us the entire road ahead. He gives us just enough light for the next Brave Hearted step. Trust in His timing and say "yes" even when you don't have all the answers.
2. Let go of the "What Ifs." Fear thrives on "what if it goes wrong?". Faith thrives on "what if God shows up?" Shift your questions. Ask bigger, braver ones.
3. Remember who called you. Your call is not based on your resume, your resources, or your readiness. It's based on the One who said, "Go." If He called you, He will equip you.
I remember a moment when God called me to do something completely out of my comfort zone. One of those times was starting Brave Hearted Ministry 2+ years ago. I felt unqualified, unsure, and even questioned if anyone wanted to read what I wrote. But deep down, I knew God was asking me to create this ministry for people to find their Brave Hearted courage and faith to follow Him and to live life to the fullest with an intentional lifestyle with the BRAVE actions I included above.
Let me tell you, the first Brave Hearted step felt terrifying - but as soon as I obeyed God and had the blessing of my Pastors (Bishop Hector & Rev. Yolanda Hernandez of IDD Centro de Vida in Bridgeport, CT.), Brave Hearted Ministry began the same day on the yearly anniversary of when I reconciled with the Lord 22+ years ago. I'm grateful that I gave my "Yes" and blessed to bring other Brave Hearted Bloggers and Guest Brave Hearted Bloggers (who also gave their "Yes" and bring you all words of encouragement, motivation, etc. I am grateful and give all the glory and honor to our God for allowing Brave Hearted Ministry to become what I saw written on paper about one year before it all began. God continues to use our Brave Hearted Bloggers and reach not only our local states, but different parts of the world, and the site translates in their language as well! That being said, that one "Yes" opened this door that I could have never opened on my own!
A Brave Hearted Challenge
Ask yourself: What is one step I have been afraid to take? Write it down. Pray over it. Then take Brave Hearted action - BRAVE BOLDNESS. even if your knees are shaking.
God's plan for your life isn't small, safe, or stagnant. It's filled with purpose, hope, and a future that only He can design. Brave Heartedly step into it. Dare to trust His call.
A Prayer for BRAVE BOLDNESS
Father God, thank you for knowing the plans You have for me and the Brave Hearted Steppers reading this post - plans to give us hope and a future. Help us to trust You even when we can't see the full picture. Give us the Brave Hearted courage to say "Yes" to Your call and BRAVE BOLDNESS to take the next step. Silence the fear that holds us back and fill us with Brave Hearted faith that moves us foward. We surrender our plans for Yours, believing that Your way is always good. In the name of Jesus, Amen.
