Hello Brave Hearted Steppers!!

Welcome October!

Can you believe we are almost towards the end of this year?!!

I don’t know about you— but as for me, every time it gets closer to a year coming to a close, I always take time to reflect on the things that have transpired in my life.

I think about all the trials I went through and I think about how God delivered me. I think about the lessons I’ve learned and the areas in which I’ve matured in my walk with God.

I’m a person who doesn’t like confrontation. I’ve never been one who fought in school and arguing with people was not my best quality. I would be that person who would ignore or walk away from hard situations because to me—it’s easier that way.

The funny part about it is that—as a believer I know who I’m fighting against but I also know who is on my side and who fights my battles! Not only that, but I also know that if I stick this out…..there is a reward for me once the fight is over.

Knowing that at the end of this fight in life, God has promised to give me the crown of life—it definitely makes it a fight worth fighting for.

In this life, you will be faced with many trials but God promises to be with us through them all. John 16:33

He promises to bless us and keep us. Numbers 6:24-26

He promises that he will never leave us nor forsake us. Hebrews 13:5

He promises to fight our battles. Exodus 14:14

In return all we have to do is—trust Him!

Proverbs 3:5-6 says,

Trust in the Lord with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.

If you are someone who is going through a difficult time and you’re finding yourself in a hard situation. Be encouraged in knowing that God is by your side and keep pushing through! After all, you’ve made it this far! Hallelujah!

Remember that we are not fighting against flesh and blood.

For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Ephesians 6:12

May we have the attitude of Paul and stay the course!

I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. 2 Timothy 4:7

Knowing that our faithfulness will bring its reward.

His master said to him, ‘Well done, good and faithful servant. You have been faithful over a little; I will set you over much. Enter into the joy of your master.’ Matthew 25:21

May we stay encouraged by lifting each other up in prayer. May we know our enemy and may we remember that God never loses a battle, therefore, neither will we! And that my Brave Hearted Steppers is a Faith that Endures!
