Brave Blogs | Brave Positioning - Standing Where God Has Called You by Rev. Maria Guzman
Hello Brave Hearted Steppers,
There comes a moment in every believer’s journey when Brave Alignment is no longer enough—when God begins to shift you from preparation into placement. This is what we call Brave Positioning.
Brave Positioning is not about striving for a platform; it’s about surrendering to placement. It is the divine orchestration of your steps, where God positions you intentionally for purpose, impact, and influence. After seasons of Brave Alignment, healing, and growth, God begins to set you in place—not randomly, but strategically. “And the Lord directs the steps of the godly. He delights in every detail of their lives.” — Psalm 37:23 (NLT)
What is Brave Positioning?
Brave Positioning is the posture of obedience where you:
- Stand confidently where God has placed you
- Serve faithfully in the assignment He has given you
- Trust boldly in His timing, even when it feels unfamiliar
It is understanding that where you are is not accidental—it is intentional and necessary.
Signs You May Be Entering a Season of Positioning
You may be stepping into Brave Positioning if:
- You feel a shift from preparation to responsibility
- Opportunities are arising that require Brave Hearted faith and courage
- You sense God calling you to show up more visibly or intentionally
- You are being stretched beyond your comfort zone
This season may feel uncomfortable—but it is confirmation that God is trusting you with more.
The Heart of Brave Positioning: Surrender Over Control
Brave Positioning requires a release of control. You cannot position yourself the way God can. When we try to force doors open, we step out of grace. But when God positions you, He also sustains you. “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and He will lift you up.” — James 4:10 (NIV)
Your role is not to lift yourself up-it's to stay available, obedient, and surrendered.
Practical Ways to Walk in Brave Positioning
1. Stay Rooted in Prayer
Positioning requires discernment. Stay connected to God’s voice daily.
2. Honor Where You Are Now
Don’t despise your current assignment. Steward it well—it is preparing you for what’s next.
3. Move When God Says Move
Delayed obedience can delay positioning. Trust His instruction, even when it feels hard.
4. Guard Your Heart from Comparison
Your positioning is unique. What God is doing in someone else’s life does not diminish your assignment.
5. Embrace the Stretch
Growth and positioning go hand in hand. What feels uncomfortable is often where transformation happens.
God is Brave Positioning you.
Even now, He is aligning people, opportunities, and environments that will support your calling. What feels like uncertainty is often divine transition. What feels like pressure is often preparation meeting purpose.
Stand still—but stay ready.
Be grounded—but stay flexible.
Be faithful—but stay expectant.
Lord, thank You for being intentional about every step of my journey. Help me to trust where You have placed me, even when I don’t fully understand it. Give me the Brave Hearted courage to stand boldly in my assignment and the humility to remain dependent on You. Align my heart with Your will and position me for Your glory. In Jesus’ name, Amen
