Brave Blogs | Brave Positioning - Positioned in His Care by Rev. Maria Guzman

Hello Brave Hearted Steppers,

Trusting God While Taking Brave Steps Forward

As Brave Hearted Steppers, we are constantly moving—walking by faith, growing through seasons, and striving to take Brave Hearted steps toward all God has called us to do. But if we are honest, sometimes in the movement of our lives, we can become so focused on the next step that we forget Who is sustaining us along the way.

There are moments when the journey feels heavy.

Moments when responsibilities pile up, the unknowns feel overwhelming, and the pressure to keep moving forward becomes exhausting. In those seasons, we may find ourselves trying to carry everything alone—believing that if we just push harder, plan better, or hold on tighter, we can make it through.

But Brave Positioning reminds us of this truth: we were never meant to walk this journey without resting in God’s care.

Scripture tells us in 1 Peter 5:7, “Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you.”

God does not simply watch us from a distance—He walks with us. He cares about every step we take, every burden we carry, and every challenge we face along the way. His care is not passive; it is personal, intentional, and ever-present.

As Brave Hearted Steppers, positioning is not just about movement—it is about where we place our trust while we move. Because it is possible to keep stepping while slowly becoming spiritually drained. It is possible to keep serving while silently carrying burdens God asked us to surrender.

Sometimes we become so determined to keep going that we forget Brave Hearted Stepping includes Brave Surrender.

True Brave Positioning happens when we place ourselves in a posture of surrender and trust before God. It happens when we stop trying to carry the weight of the journey in our own strength and instead choose to stand in the peace that comes from trusting God’s loving care.

Jesus reminds us in Matthew 6:26 to look at the birds of the air. They do not strive anxiously for provision, yet God faithfully provides for them. If He watches over the birds, how much more does He care for those He calls His own?

Brave Hearted Stepper, hear this clearly: The same God who ordered your steps is the same God who will sustain them.

You do not have to fear every unknown ahead.
You do not have to force every door open.
You do not have to carry every burden while pretending you are okay.

Sometimes the bravest position you can take is the position of surrender. The position of trusting God with what you cannot control. The position of resting in His care even when the path ahead is unclear.

As you continue walking in purpose, remember this: God is not only concerned with where you are going—He is concerned with how you are doing while getting there.

He cares for your heart.
He cares for your mind.
He cares for your well-being.
He cares for every detail of your journey.

So keep Brave Hearted Stepping—but step knowing you are supported by the hands of God.

Keep walking—but walk knowing you are deeply loved and cared for.

Keep trusting—but trust knowing that the One who leads you will never leave you.

Because Brave Positioning is not just about where you stand—it is about standing in the confidence that God cares for every part of your journey.

Prayer

Lord, thank You for caring for me in every season of my journey. As I continue to take Brave Hearted steps forward, help me to trust You fully and surrender every burden I have been carrying. Position my heart in Your peace and remind me that I never walk alone. Strengthen me for the journey and help me rest in the assurance of Your loving care. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Pause, Pray, Take 30!

Take 30 seconds throughout your day and pray for a heart that fully trusts in God’s care, even when life feels uncertain or overwhelming. Ask the Lord to help you release every burden, quiet every anxious thought, and position your heart in the peace that comes from knowing He is walking with you every step of the way.

Many Blessings,
